| Child | First name, age, grade / class | Provided by you at registration |

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial information, biometric data, health records, caste, religion, or government identification numbers.
We do notknowingly collect personal data directly from children. All child data is provided by a parent or legal guardian who gives explicit consent on the child's behalf.
3. Why We Collect Your Data (Purpose)
We process your personal data only for the following purposes:
- Programme enrolment — to register you for Sandhya Abhyasa, Diksha, or Disha and send your child's first learning material via WhatsApp.
- Communication — to send programme updates, session reminders, and schedule changes via WhatsApp or email.
- Customer support — to respond to your queries and resolve issues.
- Analytics and improvement — to understand how our website is used so we can improve the experience (via Google Analytics; data is aggregated and not used to personally identify you).
- Legal compliance — to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
We will not use your data for automated profiling, advertising, or sale to third parties.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Consent — you provide explicit consent when you submit our registration or enrolment forms.
- Legitimate interests — site analytics to improve service quality, where such interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or share data by Indian law.
You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at the email below. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We share your data with a limited number of trusted parties:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — our cloud infrastructure provider that processes and stores registration data on servers located in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region.
- Google Analytics — for website usage analytics. Data shared is aggregated and anonymised wherever possible. Google's privacy policy governs their processing.
- WhatsApp / Meta — we use WhatsApp to communicate programme materials to parents. Please review Meta's privacy policy for how they process messages.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or disclose your personal data to any other third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy:
- Enrolment and contact data: 3 years from your last interaction with AAL, or until you request deletion.
- Analytics data: as per Google Analytics' default retention settings (26 months).
- Legal compliance records: as required by applicable Indian law (typically 7 years for financial records).
After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023
As a Data Principal, you have the following rights:
- Right of Access — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
- Right to Correction and Erasure — request correction of inaccurate data or deletion of your data where processing is no longer necessary.
- Right to Grievance Redressal — raise a grievance with our Data Fiduciary and receive a timely response.
- Right to Withdraw Consent — withdraw your consent to processing at any time, subject to legal obligations.
- Right to Nominate — nominate another individual to exercise rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at allaboutlearning@allaboutlearning.in. We will respond within 30 days.

- Cloud infrastructure secured by AWS in the Mumbai region, with access controls and logging.
- Strict internal access controls — only authorised AAL team members can access personal data.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses Google Analytics, which places cookies on your browser to collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, session duration, device type). These cookies do not personally identify you.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics at any time using Google's opt-out tools. Disabling analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use our website or enrol in any programme.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are directed at parents and guardians, not at children directly. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable parental consent. All child data (name, age, grade) is collected from the parent or guardian who provides explicit consent during registration.
If you believe your child's data has been collected without your consent, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
